Celebrating nearly 14 years of giving back

Back to All Our Community
For nearly 14 years, Walden Savings Bank has proudly participated in the Adopt-a-Highway program, helping to keep a stretch of Route 302 in Pine Bush clean and beautiful. Over the years, dozens of Walden Savings Bank team members have volunteered their time to care for this .8-mile section of roadway, completing more than 50 clean-up events and demonstrating our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve.
Recently, our team gathered one final time for a special clean-up, marking the end of our stewardship of this stretch of highway. As part of the Town of Crawford's Adopt-a-Highway rotation program, responsibility for the roadway will now be passed on to the dedicated individuals of the Marines. We are grateful for their willingness to continue this important community service.
This final clean-up was especially meaningful as a large group of Walden Savings Bank employees came together to celebrate not only the completion of the day's work, but also nearly 14 years of volunteerism and community pride. Following the clean-up, the team enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream celebration to commemorate more than 50 successful clean-up events and the many employees who contributed over the years.
At Walden Savings Bank, giving back is part of who we are. Whether it's supporting local organizations, volunteering our time, or helping to keep our neighborhoods clean, we believe small acts of service can make a lasting impact. We are proud of the role we've played in keeping Route 302 beautiful and look forward to finding new opportunities to serve our communities in the years ahead.
Thank you to every employee who laced up their boots, grabbed a trash bag, and helped make a difference over the past 14 years. Your dedication embodies the community spirit that defines Walden Savings Bank.
