Walden savings bank welcomes erika rodriguez as community mortgage loan originator

Walden Savings Bank is pleased to welcome Erika Rodriguez to its residential lending team as a Community Mortgage Loan Originator.

Rodriguez has more than two decades of experience in banking and financial services, including extensive experience in residential mortgage lending. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with customers to understand their financial needs, guide them through the mortgage process, and build strong relationships within the communities she serves.

In her new role, Rodriguez will focus on expanding access to homeownership throughout Walden Savings Bank’s service area. She will work directly with prospective homebuyers to understand their financial goals, provide guidance on available mortgage solutions, and support them throughout the homebuying process.

Rodriguez will also play an active role in community outreach and homebuyer education, including conducting homebuyer workshops and developing relationships with real estate professionals, attorneys, builders, civic organizations, and other community partners. Through these relationships, she will help connect prospective borrowers with resources and information designed to make the path to homeownership more accessible and understandable.

Prior to joining Walden Savings Bank, Rodriguez held a variety of roles across mortgage origination, assisting customers throughout the mortgage application and closing process while building relationships with customers, real estate professionals, and members of the community. Her previous experience also includes roles in lending, financial services, and branch banking.

As Community Mortgage Loan Originator, Rodriguez will help prospective borrowers navigate the early stages of the mortgage process, including pre-qualification and reviewing financial information to help identify mortgage solutions that align with their individual circumstances and homeownership goals.
